My poor blog is being neglected because most of the sessions I am doing right now are for the holidays. I can’t wait to share some really cute holiday images with you once everyone sends out their Christmas cards. But for now I don’t want to spoil the surprise for the Christmas card recipients!
I meant to blog this last week but I have just been so busy. Last weekend, CPPA hosted it’s annual “Portraits of Hope” event at Marillac House. Marillac House is a non-profit organization on Chicago’s west side that provides early childhood education, teen mentoring, family support services, and assistance to the elderly. CPPA has worked with Marillac House for the past several years to provide holiday portraits to families who normally could not afford such a luxury. The photographers donate their time and talent and a lab donates the printing. It’s really quite a fun day so I wanted to share some images from the event. I was running one of the portrait stations, so these candids have been given to me courtesy of Roger Findley. Photographer group shot courtesy of Cynthia Kristufek.
Photographer Group shot:

I am so honored to be a part of this amazing group, and hope more Chicago-area photographers will join us next year.
